Spiritual Spark π₯
"Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I fear no evil; FOR YOU ARE WITH ME; your rod and your staff, they comfort me" (Ps 23:4).
Today's Sunday (4th Sunday of Lent) is traditionally known as "Laetare Sunday", which means "rejoice Sunday". This Sunday is a call to rejoice in the midst of fasting season, looking at the forthcoming Easter. Today's gospel speaks about light and healing and today's psalm is the most consoling Psalm 23: "The Lord is my shepherd".
This Psalm is very masterfully constructed. In Hebrew language, it consists of 55 words. 3 words are in the centre of the psalm and 26 words are placed on either side of these 3 central words. Number 26 is extremely sacred for Jewish people as it is the number signifying Yahweh, God the Father.
Three central words are "ki atta imadi", which mean "For / You / (are) with me." The central word of this central expression is "You", which is a pronoun for God. Let us put God in the centre, let us have confidence in him and we will not be afraid of anything!
Good day and God bless us all! ππΌπ
