"Those who are wise understand these things; those who are discerning know them. For the ways of the Lord are right, and the upright walk in them, but transgressors stumble in them" (Hos 14:9).

The above quote is the last verse in the book of Prophet Hosea. Hosea is known as the Prophet of God's tender love. In this book, we hear God constantly calling his people to repent from their wicked ways and come back to him.

In response to today's reading the responsorial psalm reads: "I am the Lord your God. Listen, my people, to my warning." These words sound very relevant in the context of the present crisis.

We need to become wise and discerning and listen to the directives given to us by the authorities in these difficult times. Let us also use this crisis situation to turn away from our wicked ways and unhealthy life-style and start caring for others and for creation!

Good day and God bless us all! 🙏🏼👂🏼
