"Hear my prayer, O Lord! Let my cry come to you. Do not hide your face from me in the day of distress. Incline your ear to me; answer me speedily in the day when I call" (Ps 102:1-2).
The above words express the sentiments of most of the believers in these trying times. In fact, the words of Ps 102 are especially designed for this purpose.
The superscription of Ps 102 states: "A prayer of one afflicted, when he is faint and pours out his concerns before the Lord". Indeed it is a beautiful prayer, we all need to read today. It is wonderful to meditate on the appealing words of this psalm.
The psalmist mentions that he lies awake, he is like a lonely bird; his days are like an evening shadow; he withers away like grass; he is like a prisoner, doomed to die, whom the Lord sets free. He also mentions that God has broken his strength, and the worldly reality is passing, but God is everlasting.
Good day and God bless us all! ππΌπ
